To provide modern, up to date facilities and equipment to the people of Toowoomba and district and visitors to the club for the enjoyment of clay target sport. To encourage youth to take up the sport and to promote the sport in every way possible.
Many Competitions are staged each year.
One of these is the "Malcolm Main Memorial Trophy" ( Mal. is pictured left).Mal Main died of a heart attack in 2007, he was our caretaker. This event is held in March and features the "Warwick Challenge Shield"
Clay Target shooting is one of the most popular and fast growing of the target sports. The firearm used is a "shotgun" with "clay" targets 100mm in diameter and 20mm thick. These are launched by the "thrower" at consistent speeds and varying angles, thus providing the three clay target disciplines of ":Down the line", "Skeet", and "Sporting Clays" a most challenging target. Come and try your skill...
