Clay Target shooting is one of the most popular and fast growing of the target sports. The firearm used is a "shotgun" with "clay" targets 100mm in diameter and 20mm thick. These are launched by the "thrower" at consistent speeds and varying angles, thus providing the three clay target disciplines of ":Down the line", "Skeet", and "Sporting Clays" a most challenging target.
